Another bobbin lace made from Geklöppelte Weihnachtssterne using the unknown metallic thread. I don't want to jinx myself, but I think the petals are starting to be a bit more even. They still don't look pretty, but progress is being made! While making this star, I learned how to change out this metallic thread. Not sure why, but I was convinced it would be harder than adding cotton thread. It seems like half my bobbins ran out of thread or had a huge knot that I had to get rid of! Of course, most of them right before it was finished... Turns out it's not as bad as I had expected, so there is nothing to fear in the future.
