I just finished the next motif for my second round of the 25 motif challenge. The pattern is called "Large Crystal Snowflake" from Tatted Snowflakes by Vida Sunderman. Not much to say about this snowflake. I cannot pinpoint why, but I am not too crazy about this pattern. It also took quite a bit of thread! I'm glad that I anticipated that and bought two skeins.
Made with Kreinik braid No. 4, the motif is ~ 3 inches across.
I think it's really pretty! Maybe it's the thread that has caught my attention. Whether it's the thread or the pattern, I think it will be a beautiful addition to your tree!
