This is motif No. 41 for my 25 motif challenge, round 2. It is "double star snowflake" from Tatted Snowflakes by Vida Sunderman and is made with Kreinik braid no. 4.
I ended up really liking this pattern, even though it is a bit fiddly since it made in three rounds. Joining the second round to the joining picots in the first round is a nice break from the typical rings and chain motif that is commonly seen in the center.
