I have wanted to get back into reticella for a while and finally started this a little while ago. It has been a while since I made any reticule and it shows. Now that I have started laying down the base, I see that I did not plan to make enough support stitches. As a result I suspect the outline will be fairly wonky. Lesson learned for next time, as long as I start another piece soon after I finish this one!
