It's actually embarrassing to post this blob. For the sake of completeness I decided to swallow my pride and post it anyway. This is motif No. 3 from my Mediterranean Knotted lace book. This is the first time I ever made chains (the center of the motif) and it shows. It is also the second time I have made closed loops. My small loops and picots have improved a lot with practice, but unfortunately I have not had a chance to practice chains and closed loops as much.
Made with DMC Cebelia 30, the blob is ~ 3 in long and 1.5 in tall.
