May progress

This is ridiculous! June is almost over and I haven't even posted what I worked on in May. At this point, I'm not sure I even remember...

Not a lot of time for lace, which is the main reason I haven't been posting.

Bobbin lace:
Still working on my current work in progress. It's coming along OK - a lot of nothing followed by a short flurry of activity.

Tatting:
I think I finished one of my metallic motifs for the 25 motif challenge, but haven't worked in the ends yet. Hopefully that will get done soon so I will have something to post!

My large "grill doily" WIP got put aside for a while while I had to finish a gift.

Needle Lace:
Nothing.

Teneriffe:
Nothing.

Knotted Lace:
Nothing.

Puncetto:
I worked on Puncetto for a bit at the beginning of the month (May), but haven't done much since.

This month's summary will be just as short as this one, maybe things will pick up in July. Or August.

  1. I think we can let you off - because May's Puncetto square gets better every time I look at it :)

  2. I've been reading your blog for a while, and I've got a question for you... I've been tatting for about 6 months and love it. I'm starting to get interested in bobbin lace, but am having a difficult time finding the appropriate materials, as well as anyone willing to give a few words of advice to a newbie. Could you help me out?

    Many thanks from a fellow lace-addict! :)
